The Traps

This short-lived, heavy-drinking garage rock/trash rock trio existed for just over a year in the early 2000s in Providence, Rhode Island. Comprising a wild drummer and two guitarists, the Traps played only briefly in their area, recording a six-song CD-R and gigging with garage bands that came through town. When Coachwhips played one of these blistering gigs, the Traps came to the attention of future Thee Oh Sees main man John Dwyer, a member of Coachwhips at the time.
