Biography
TypeWriter are an English-language indie rock band from Singapore led by singer, songwriter, and filmmaker Yee Chang Kang, formerly of the Ordinary People. Following two albums with the Ordinary People, Chang Kang founded TypeWriter in 2000 with Patrick Chng (guitar, vocals), Farizwan (bass), and Ronny Laily (drums). Desmond Goh (bass, vocals) and William Lim, Jr. (drums) later joined the band in 2003 and 2004, respectively.
