After almost two months behind bars, Troy Ave has finally been released from jail, the New York Daily News reports.
Back in May 2016, Troy and his crew was involved in an Irving Plaza shooting that left multiple people wounded--including himself--and his bodyguard died.
He was soon arrested and charged with attempted murder when video footage of the rapper shooting at someone surfaced. However, now Troy is out on $500,000 bond. His mother's house was used to secure it.
He's far from being out of the woods, though. Assistant District Attorney Joshua Steinglass requested that Troy wear an ankle bracelet and not leave the city, which the judge presiding over the case granted. Troy also can't visited his two children who reside in New Jersey.
Troy was helped by two men as he left the courthouse, as he's still recovering from his gunshots in his legs. Soon after his release, Troy tweeted that he was finally free.
