Did Niall Horan Buy A Baby Gift For Liam Payne And Cheryl Cole?

Niall Horan did NOT buy a gift for Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole’s unborn baby, despite an inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can help debunk this claim.

Horan was spotted leaving a baby boutique store in West Hollywood this week carrying a basket of pink gifts for a girl. HollywoodLife is now wrongly assuming the singer “accidentally revealed” the sex of his One Direction bandmate’s baby to be female, adding, “It’s pretty tough to deny after the Irish crooner was photographed stocking up on adorable baby gifts — for a girl.” The repeatedly discredited outlet goes on to say Horan “already seems to have a grasp on his uncle duties,” but then speculates that Payne and Cole may be upset he “revealed a MAJOR secret” about their unborn child.

Only, Horan didn’t reveal the sex of Payne’s soon-to-be-born baby, because he wasn’t buying the gifts for him or her. The presents were bought for the newborn daughter of producer Ben Winston, a friend of Horan’s who also produced many of One Direction’s concert films. In fact, the singer posted a photo (see below) of himself cradling the producer’s newborn girl on Instagram on Thursday, and added the caption, “Got to meet little Ruby Winston today.. beautiful little girl. So happy for Ben and Meri. Love you.” Despite the webloid’s incorrect speculation, the sex of Payne and Cole’s baby remains to be seen.
