Beyonce Didn't Tell Her Dad Mathew Knowles That She Was Pregnant

Well, this kind of hurt. During an interview with "The Insider," Beyoncé's dad, Mathew Knowles, revealed that he found out his daughter was pregnant on the internet. 

Last week, the BeyHive was at a loss for words when their queen revealed that she was expecting twins with her husband, Jay Z, on Instagram. “We would like to share our love and happiness,” she captioned a photo proudly showing her baby bump. 

“We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.  - The Carters". This announcement was major, to say the least. Bey's announcement photo even became the most liked IG picture in history. The entire world was shook. 

Unfortunately for her pops, he was one of the last in Bey's family to find out about this exciting news. While speaking to "The Insider," Papa Knowles said, “I was shocked. I got a first text, and I was like, ‘Why is this person saying congratulations?’ Then I get a second text from one of my students at Texas Southern, and I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ He was like, ‘Go to the web.’ I didn’t know myself.”

He added: “It was smart. As a business decision, I think it was strategy. I think there’s more to come.” Then, Knowles also dropped some info about Bey preparing for her Grammys performance -- twins and all. “She sounded a little tired ’cause she’s been working on the GRAMMY performance,” he said about their phone conversation after he found out about her pregnancy. “We just had a wonderful daughter-dad conversation.”
