"Somethin' I'm Good At" is a fun, upbeat song, as Brett sings about all the things he's not good at -- except loving the right woman. According to the lyrics, Brett is a bad liar, he burns toast, he can't change a flat tire, building fires are not his specialty as the same with dancing. But he knows how love. Which is way more important, anyway.

On the meaning behind the lyrics for "Somethin' I'm Good At"

"Somethin' I'm Good At" is completely my life story of how much of a clumsy, random person that I am. It is completely my personality in three minutes. It's crazy, it's fun, it talks about just embracing; I want people to embrace your imperfections and what you are. I am terrible at a lot of things. Like, I can't change a flat [tire]. You know, 'I can't change the world, hell I can't even change a flat. But if you give me your heart girl, you may never get it back.' I can love the right girl. And so in the end, that's where the endearing part of it is. Just, I can do a lot of things wrong, but I finally found something I'm good at, and that's loving this girl."

"Somethin' I'm Good At" is the first new official single from Brett since his 2016 Illinois single "Wanna Be That Song," which hit No. 1 on the US Country Airplay chart, as well as No. 3 on the US Hot Country Songs chart. And judging by the sound of this new single, he is surely headed to the top of the charts again. Which means he is REALLY good at making music.
