By Isha Thorpe
March 6, 2017
Tonight (March 5), the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards went off without a hitch, as it honored some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry with awards that were rightfully deserved by the talents who were gifted them.
During the festivities, many of our favorites won some major awards. From Drake, Chance The Rapper, Bryson Tiller, The Weeknd and more; the best of the best were given trophies for their released projects. Not only that, but there were a number of moments that went down, not only during the show, but beforehand, as well.
The cameras couldn't spot every little thing, but it's all good because we've got you covered! We collected the coolest moments of the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards just for you because our love for our fans and viewers are real.
Take a look at all of the Hip Hop and R&B iHeartRadio Music Awards highlights below.
Big Sean & Jhene Aiko Are Red Carpet Relationship Goals
Big Sean and Jhene Aiko were relationship goals to the highest degree. As soon as the couple walked out onto the red carpet, cameras went crazy because they just looked so great together. And real talk, we loved watching them all booed up, too. Of course, both of them looking as flawless as ever isn't TOO much of a shocking considering how gorgeous both recording artists already look individually. But when they're together, we just can't look away. They have that Martin and Gina type of glow.
Big Sean Brings I Decided Album To Life
Big Sean's performance at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards was one of the most lit moments of the night. The Detroit MC put on a hot set when he spit a few songs from his latest album, I Decided. He started the performance off with "Voices In My Heads." Then, he changed the pace a bit when he rapped "Bounce Back" and finally, closed on a high note with "Moves." The dancers that Sean brought onstage with him were a nice touch to an already dope performance. They added more energy to the rapper's party vibe.
DJ Khaled's Baby Asahd Makes #iHeartAwards Debut
DJ Khaled had some help when he introduced Ed Sheeran out onstage tonight (March 5). The famed DJ/producer had his adorable 4-month-old son Asahd Tuck Khaled on his left arm and Khaled introduced him as the executive producer of his upcoming album...which yes, Asahd indeed is. While Khaled was speaking, we couldn't even get our eyes off of the pint-sized version of him. He was too cute for words.
Rihanna Accepts Her Awards via SnapChat
Though she couldn't make it to the show, Rihanna thanked iHeartRadio and her fans after she learned that she won not one, but three awards: Best Collaboration and R&B Song of The Year for "Work" featuring Drake, and R&B Album of The Year for ANTI. That's 3 for 3! There's no stopping this bad gyal.
Karrueche Tran Wows In Sexy Red Satin Outfit
Karrueche has always been a fashion killer. But tonight, she really outdid herself with her look. The stylist turned actress looked absolutely beautiful on a hot red, satin outfit that had us shouting "YASSS" through our TV screens. After working her look on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet, and then adorning the stage with it, viewers were completely in a trance while she dazzled at the awards ceremony.
Big Sean Having Fun With Big Boy
Let us find out that Big Sean is just a big old jokester! While Ryan Seacrest was standing with other iHeartRadio personalities, Big Sean decided to play around behind them. The MC stood on a chair and photobombed -- or shall we say show-bombed -- all of the DJs, Real 92.3 LA's Big Boy especially.
