Harry Styles' promotional circuit for his upcoming debut album is in full swing. Not only did he recently hit the "Saturday Night Live" stage, but he's also set to help the "Today" show kick off their summer concert series and just announced his first worldwide tour. Earlier this week, the pop star also took to a French talk show and spoke out about things that we don't hear him typically talk about: human rights.
During the interview, the 23-year-old singer was asked about Brexit, but the host received a response that he probably didn't expect. "I don't really comment about politics," Styles replied, avoiding the question. "To me, anything that brings people together is better than things that pull people apart."
However, Styles wasn't entirely in the clear as the host hit back, saying, "Yet you are in favor of equality of rights, men, women, gay people, straight people, that's politics." Here's where things got good.
"That doesn't feel like politics to me. I think stuff like equality feels much more fundamental. I feel like everyone is equal. That doesn't feel like politics to me," the pop star explained. You tell 'em, Harry!
