Dolly Parton Gets Emmy Nod For TV Movie

Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors got an Emmy nod yesterday for Outstanding Television Movie

The movie is the sequel to 2016's Coat of Many Colors, which is based on her life growing up poor in the Smoky Mountains. Dolly plays the town prostitute, Painted Lady, in both films.

The awards will air live from Los Angeles on CBS on September 17th.
