EXCLUSIVE: Blake Shelton Explains Meaning Behind New Song "Money" (VIDEO)

The day before Blake Shelton releases his new album Texoma Shore, the country star shared another new song from the record, and it's called "Money." iHeartRadio and Nissan have teamed up to bring fans exclusive interviews and acoustic performances featuring Blake and Bobby Bones, and the latest video features the country star talking about the meaning behind his latest Texoma Shore song.

Sitting around a campfire at Blake's ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Shelton explained of the track, "This song has everything to do with money and nothing to do with money at the same time." He adds, "It's fun, it's a party song. It's basically about this couple that basically have nothing, they don't have a pot to piss in. This thing they have goin' on, that's money."

"Money" follows three previously released tracks shared this week including "At The House," "I Lived It," and "Turnin' Me On," in addition to Texoma Shore's lead single "I'll Name The Dogs," which Blake released back in September. 

Texoma Shore is Blake's 11th studio album and follows 2016's If I'm Honest. With 11 new songs in total, the new record was created on Lake Texoma, close to Blake's home. Shelton kicks off his "Country Music Freaks" tour in February 2018, taking along Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce, and special guest Trace Adkins for the ride.
