Global Citizen Parodies Taylor Swift With 'Look Where Some People Poo'
November 14, 2017
Global Citizen is attempting to raise awareness for worldwide sanitation with the help of Taylor Swift's mega-hit, "Look What You Made Me Do," and they've revamped the song into something entirely different with a brand-new parody called "Look Where Some People Poo."
Ahead of World Toilet Day on November 19, Global Citizen is asking folks to sign a petition, which demands that the World Bank commit to recognizing the importance of basic sanitation. "Look Where Some People Poo" joins a string of previously released parodies from the organization, including an Adele parody about calling Congress and a Bruno Mars parody about women's rights.
In case you weren't aware, 3.4 billion people don't have access to safe and working toilets, with 892 million people defecating outside in the open or into bodies of water. Unfortunately, that's linked to many deadly diseases, including cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, and polio. Take a look at the Taylor Swift "Look Where Some People Poo" video below!
