A lot of stuff happened in 2017 and millions of posts went up on Instagram to document it all, but which were the most popular ones of the year? The photo and video sharing app has revealed the top posts and users of 2017.

So which was the most liked photo of the year? Beyonce took the honor with her pregnancy announcement back in February:

She also took the four spot five months later after the birth of her twins:

Selena Gomez came in at three with her friend/kidney donor Francia:

Rounding out the top five was soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo who had the two spot with this photo of his newborn and family:

Ronaldo wasn't just loved for his photos - he also topped the list of most liked videos for a this clip of his custom Bugatti. A close-up video of the car came in fifth.

Another soccer player, Leo Messi, had the second-most liked video with his farewell to a teammate:
