Say it ain't so! TMZ is reporting that Ariana Grande and Mac Miller have broken up.

This shocking news comes just a short while after the singer announced her upcoming album, Sweetener and the first single off of the project titled "No Tears Left To Cry," which Grande already debuted on TV on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

TMZ claims that even though the two called it quits, they're still very close to one another. "We're told Ariana and Mac quietly cut off their romantic relationship after their work schedules became too busy, but they've remained best friends since then ... as always," the outlet reports. "Our sources say the ex-couple love each other dearly and that will continue to be the case but, again ... just as close friends."

Grande and Miller publicly announced their relationship in September 2016. They always looked happy with one another. The rapper was even close by Grande's side, as she went through the devastating the Manchester bombing aftermath. On top of that, Miller showed his now ex-girlfriend some love on social media recently about her musical comeback with her new "No Tears Left To Cry" single. However, it looks like their time together has wrapped up.

On a lighter note, be sure to check out Grande performing at the 2018 iHeartRadio Wango Tango By AT&T hosted by Ryan Seacrest on June 2! The concert is going down at the all-new Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Plus, more artists will be announced within the next few weeks. Tickets are already on sale. So, hurry up and grab some before they're all gone. Trust us, it'll definitely be a fun show!
