'Little People, Big World' Star Mom-Shamed Over Instagram Post

Little People, Big World star Audrey Roloff is a new mom who is proud to share photos of her adorable daughter Ember. Audrey, who married little people Amy and Matt Roloff's son Jeremy in 2014, gave birth to the little girl in September. Since then, she's posted many photos of their child - though earlier this year took a break from social media to unplug. She returned last month and a few days ago put up a pic of Ember that might have her rethinking her decision to come back to social media because she is being mom-shamed over the shot.

The innocent pic shows Audrey holding a naked Ember on a beach in Hawaii. The baby is facing away from the camera, but a tiny bit of her bottom is visible. However, that was enough to set off some of Audrey's followers.

This was an evening of undistracted playfulness with our little girl. Splashing in the ocean and digging in the sand. I think it was C.S. Lewis that said, “Children aren’t a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.” I’ll admit it. I’m a heroic multitasker. And although this might be a skill worthy of praise in our culture, it’s a tendency I’m trying to fight against. I want to be more present, more tuned-in, and more alive in each moment, task, or encounter. Especially when it comes to motherhood. I don’t want to model busyness, I want my life to reflect discipline, priorities, and healthy rhythms of rest. I want my daughter to know by my actions that raising her is a privellage and a blessing, not a burden. Moms how do you fight agaisnt the temptaion to multitask?!

While plenty of people thought the photo was absolutely adorable, others objected to it:

The happy couple doesn't seem to be too put off by the haters, and they seem like they will continue to post shots of their beautiful family.
