Inside Cardi B's Baby Shower: Offset, A Baby Bodega & More

It's been a big week for the one and only Cardi B. After word had prematurely spread that she and Offset secretly married in September, Tuesday night (June 26) saw the Love & Hip Hop alum host an elaborate baby shower dubbed "Bardi Shower: A Bronx Fairytale" in Atlanta, Georgia with the Migos rapper and some of her closest loved ones.
For the affair, the Bronx native dressed in a gorgeous gown with plenty of jewelry to match her husband. To elaborate on the Bronx-focused theme, there was a Bardi Baby Bodega, which was stocked with drinks, baby gear, and dessert. In addition to the dance floor, the shower also hosted a library with children's books. Offset took to his Instagram Story to document the big night and it's clear that the evening was filled with lots of joy for the hip-hop pair, who are expecting a baby girl. Among some of the notable appearances included Monica, Cardi's younger sister Hennessy, and fellow reality star/rapper, Rasheeda Frost.
"I want a lit baby shower. My baby shower's not starting at no 5:00 PM. My sh*t is going to start at 9 PM because that’s how I celebrate, that’s how Caribbean people celebrate," Bardi previously told Rolling Stone in her recent cover story. "I don't like baby showers that be at 5 PM in the backyard, cooking, eating hors-d'oeuvres. Nah. Sh*t, I might even drink some red wine!"
On Monday (June 25), TMZ reported that Bardi had asked for some lavish gifts at her shower, including a mini battery-powered Bentley Bentayga, which cost $700. It was one of the many top-notch items that the star requested alongside a $2,799 baller bassinet and a $200 BEABA Babycook set.
