Ever since Drake dropped his highly anticipated two-part album Scorpion Friday (June 29), it's all the internet can talk about. He confirms his son on "Emotionless"! Jay-Z raps about XXXTentacion's death on "Talk Up"! However, there's one observation many have made that may not be true: that "Sandra's Rose" and "Finesse" are about Bella Hadid.
The day the album came out, Perez Hilton posted an article titled "Is Drake Caught Up on Bella Hadid? The Lyrical Evidence!" A Twitter user responded to a tweet about the story, saying "Probably, who hasn't he banged?" And then the supermodel herself replied, setting the record straight.
"Not me!!! that’s disrespectful," she wrote. "WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation."

Though she clearly makes it sound like nothing happened with Drizzy, the lyrics in question still seem to say otherwise. In "Sandra's Rose" he raps “My house is full of supermodels just like Mohammed Hadid,” who happens to be Bella's father.
Sure, that could just be referencing their friendship, but the "Finesse" lyrics are definitely out of the friend zone. “I want my baby to have your eyes, I’m going against my own advice / Should I do New York? I can’t decide / Fashion week is more your thing than mine.” He raps, later saying: “You stay on my mind / You you and your sister are too hot too handle.”
So maybe Perez Hilton is partly right: Is Drake hung up on a romance, but one that hasn't even happened yet?
