A recent photograph of Normani and Sam Smith spotted together is igniting beliefs of a future collaboration between the two pop stars. "Studio Vibes," read the inscription of the adorable pic shared on Wednesday (August 8) by the 22-year-old's management team S10. In it, the musicians can be seen beaming in a happy embrace, presumably a sign that a duet could be forthcoming from the pair.
As you know, the "Too Good At Goodbyes" crooner is a well-known admirer of the women of Fifth Harmony, having quite literally balled out over the Harmonizer's indefinite hiatus announcement back in March.

"After six years going hard, non-stop, we also realized that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and to you, we do need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors," the girl chart-topping group revealed in a statement on Twitter. Among the masses of Harmonizers devasted by the hiatus news was the 26-year-old warbler. "FIFTH HARMONY!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the British star tweeted in response to the heart-breaking announcement.
There's really no telling from the image alone whether a team-up between our faves is on the horizon, but this is a clear sign that it's a possibility!
Normani has been slowly teasing the details of her new album, from audio snippets of untitled tunes to the name of her debut — which has been confirmed though not yet revealed — to potential collaborators on the album, including singer-songwriter Victoria Monet, bounce legend Big Freedia (more on that here) and iconic record producer Missy Elliott (based on their recent Twitter exchange).
