Keith Urban is lending his vocals to a new project with one of country’s newest female voices. The country Aussie appears on Jillian Jacqueline's latest release "If I Were You," a song she explains tells the story of "meeting and falling for someone new very soon after a heartbreak and feeling unprepared to love again."
Jillian co-wrote the song with Jordan Reynolds and Sarah Buxton, who co-wrote Keith’s "Stupid Boy" in 2006 and “Put You in a Song” in 2010.
“The song was very real to me when I wrote it, and is now one of the most special songs of my career because Keith is part of it with me,” she adds of “If I Were You.” “His voice and guitar playing took this song to the next level, and I am so proud of it.”
The song is the lead single from Jillian’s forthcoming EP SIDE B.
