Arianators really put in work!

As you should probably already know, Ariana Grande released her fourth studio album Sweetener last month. The album features 15 tracks, including Ari's singles, "God is a woman", "no tears left to cry," and "the light is coming" featuring Nicki Minaj.  However, Ariana's fans recently discovered that the singer hid a secret message on one of the album's tracks.

With Arianators meticulously examining the lyrics of each song since its release, they seemed to have stumbled upon a hidden message left on "breathin."  (For those of you who have listened to the album from front to back for the past few weeks and are wondering how you missed it, don't worry, the message can't be found in the song's lyrics.)

At the beginning of "breathin," a voice can be heard saying something indecipherable. However, as Ariana's dedicated fans discovered, if you play the introduction backward you can hear the voice clearly say: "Tonight is your special night, do something magical."

That's not all. Fans are convinced that the message is more than just a sweet sentiment, but one that holds special meaning to Ariana since they believe the voice belongs to her late grandfather, who passed away in 2014. (Talk about a tear-jerker!)

Fans additionally noted that the placement of the message on "breathin" was no doubt done on purpose. While on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, Ariana talked about how the song is about dealing with her anxiety.

"'breathin' is about breathing when you're anxious," she explained. "It's about anxiety and feeling like you can't get a full breath. It's the worst feeling in the world."

"I was having lots of [anxiety attacks]. There was no end," she continued. "We were in the studio, we were writing and I was like, ‘I can’t breathe.' They were like, ‘We’re gonna write this song.’ I was like, ‘Okay, still can’t breathe, but we’ll write it.’"

Ariana added, "We made this song. I can kind of breathe now, so we’re good. Progress."

Back in June, she also tweeted that the song is "an anxiety [cloud emoji]."
