Halsey will make her big-screen premiere alongside Mother Monster.
On Wednesday (September 5), the "Colors" vocalist took to social media to spill the beans that she'd be starring in Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's upcoming drama A Star Is Born.

It was an honor to watch both of your talent and dedication on set. an all time life highlight for me for sure."

So what part will she play?
Evidently, the Grammy-nominated artist's character is true to self and to contemporary music.
"I play myself for a very small moment! Which is insane because it means Gaga and Bradley saw me worthy of representing a piece of the current state of music in this film forever," she added. "They could have picked any artist. It was so humbling and unreal."
The "Strangers" songbird had her first on-screen experience on the comedy-drama television series Roadies in 2016. A Star Is Born will be her first movie appearance.
The American Sniper actor directs the musical romantic drama remake, in which an aged musician (Cooper) falls in love with a talented aspiring singer-songwriter (Gaga).
Last week, Gaga and Cooper celebrated the film's premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Italy, where the pair arrived hand-in-hand on the red carpet. In speaking of the film during a press conference, the Joanne artist said, “It’s a story about love and about what Bradley refers to as the human plight of addiction. It was a remarkable experience for me."
A Star Is Born releases October 5.
