'A Star Is Born': Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper Debut Four New Songs

Here's an extended preview of the soundtrack for A Star Is Born.

On Thursday (September 6), Warner Bros. released four never-before-seen moments from the upcoming drama starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, which include previews to brand-new songs from the remake of the 1937 original motion picture.

In this modern retelling, Jackson Maine (Cooper), a past-his-prime country star mentors and falls in love with his protegee, struggling aspiring singer Ally (Gaga). Just when Ally begins to lose hope in her dreams of becoming an artist, Jackson thrusts her forward into the spotlight not knowing their personal relationship will suffer for it.

Last week, the castmates supported the film's big-screen premiere at the Venice Film Festival (August 31). In a press conference for the movie, Gaga commented, "It’s a story about love and about what Bradley refers to as the human plight of addiction. It was a remarkable experience for me."

The screenplay from Eric Roth, Will Fetters, and Cooper also stars Dave Chappelle, Andrew DICE Clay, and Sam Elliott. Alt-pop singer Halsey revealed she makes a cameo in the project releasing October 5.

The film features original music recorded live by the American Sniper actor and 32-year-old pop star, which they co-wrote with musicians Mark Ronson, Jason Isbell, and Lukas Nelson.
