Just hours after news broke of Mac Miller's unexpected passing, G-Eazy performed a concert in Tampa Bay, Florida. Before the show, the grieving rapper wrote a heartfelt note on Twitter. "Completely devastated and heart broken I’m at a loss for words mac you were like a brother to me and were there for me in the hardest of times, especially this summer," he lamented. "I can’t believe this is real."

During his set at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, G-Eazy dedicated the song "Everything Will Be OK" to his late friend. "I swear, life is so f***ing fragile," he said during the emotionally charged performance, as a  black and white photo of Miller filled the screen behind him. "Appreciate the moment. Be present in it. Tell people you love you care about them."

After the show, G-Eazy posted a photo of himself silhouetted by Miller's tribute photo. "Performed everything will be ok for you tonight and f***in broke down on stage" he captioned the post. "Rest peacefully bro, we miss you"

G-Eazy ended up canceling the concert's afterparty, stating it didn't feel right or appropriate.

Miller died of an apparent overdose. He was found in his San Fernando home on Friday (September 7). He was only 26 years old.
