Less than a week after Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's explosive online beef, which included plenty of talk about endorsement deals, Reebok has announced their brand-new partnership with the Bronx rapper.

As per a press release, which was sent out on Monday (November 5), the shoe giant gushed about their decision to choose Bardi as their next spokesperson. "Everything that you love about Cardi B is what you love about Reebok," the release stated. "Reebok has a longstanding legacy of nonconformity, whether it’s creating the first workout shoe exclusively for women or putting bold-faced expletives and fresh-faced hip-hop stars in its big ad campaigns in the early '00s."

Details of the deal are unknown, but the rapper is on track to promote Reebok's Aztrek sneaker, as well as some of their apparel. Bardi joins a string of other hip-hop heads to have partnered with the fashion big-wig, including the likes of Cam'Ron, Rae Sremmurd, and Curren$y.

"For us, she really is emblematic of what our brand has done well over the years and that is to be bold, provocative and uninhibited," said Matthew O'Toole, Reebok's president in an interview with WWD. "If we look at some of the things we've done with Allen Iverson or being the first to sign musicians, or more recently with Kerby [Jean-Raymond] of Pyer Moss, when we are at our best we are with people who are comfortable living out loud and Cardi fits that."
