The Smashing Pumpkins have gifted fans with another offering off SHINY AND OH SO BRIGHT, VOL. 1 / LP: NO PAST. NO FUTURE. NO SUN. The album's opening track, "Knights of Malta," is a rumbling tune that calls to the mystic motifs of classic rock greats.

"Find that open road / Catch that blazing star / And climb out of that hole / To wonder where we are," Billy Corgan sings before jumping into the chorus. "We're gonna make this happen / I'm gonna fly forever / We're gonna ride that rainbow," he declares.

The song features lush, orchestral production and choral backing vocals. Listen to the robust new track below.

"Knights of Malta" is the third offering off the upcoming album, following lead single "Solara" and "Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)."

SHINY AND OH SO BRIGHT, VOL. 1 / LP: NO PAST. NO FUTURE. NO SUN. will be the first in 18 years to feature founding members Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin, with longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder. It's slated for a November 16th release via Corgan's label, Martha's Music. During a recent Instagram Q&A, Corgan referred to the new album as a mix between Nirvana's Nevermind and Guns N' RosesAppetite for Destruction.

Later this month, the band embarks on a short 30th anniversary tour through seven cities, including St. Louis, Chicago, and Phoenix.
