David Beckham Dad-Shamed Over 'Gross' Photo With His Daughter

David Beckham is not only a worldwide soccer star, he's also a father. The 43-year-old has a 19-year-old son named Brooklyn, a 15-year-old son named Romeo, a 13-year-old son named Cruz and a seven-year-old daughter named Harper. David is an affectionate dad and loves to share pics of himself, his wife Victoria, and his kids on Instagram, however, his latest photo has gotten a lot of backlash. It shows him and little Harper at London's Natural History Museum skating rink - nothing wrong with that - except that in the shot he is giving Harper a little peck on the lips. He captioned the pic "Christmas is coming. Let's go skate." 

Most people thought the photo was an innocent shot showing a loving father and his daughter, but plenty of commenters felt the need to express how inappropriate they thought the show of affection was:

Hundreds of fans defended David, praising his parenting and saying that the only thing on display in the picture is the love of a sweet father. Even fellow athlete Tom Brady chimed in to say "Dad and daughter. So sweet!" The pic probably hit the New England Patriots quarterback hard - he went through his own shaming episode when he kissed his 10-year-old son on the lips in an episode of his Facebook series Tom vs. Time. 

It's actually not even the first time Beckham has been through this. In June of 2017 he posted a similar photo and got a similar reaction:
