Pete Davidson is on track to prioritize his health with the assistance of his loved ones, as per a new TMZ report.
On Thursday (December 20), the celebrity gossip outlet revealed that the SNL star is focusing on his mental health issues and well-being. Since sharing his fragile state in a since-deleted suicide note on Instagram last weekend, friends and family members have stepped up to the plate to support Davidson. Insiders close to the situation told TMZ that he's overwhelmed by all the love and the rush of support has lifted his spirits. He is currently getting professional help and plans to be back on SNL when it returns in mid-January.
As you know, Ariana Grande rushed over to 30 Rock on Saturday to see Davidson after he posted the note, but the pop mega-star was reportedly prevented from seeing her former flame. Sources close to the situation revealed that the comedian told his security to keep her at bay when she arrived at the building because he was hurt by what she tweeted. Davidson knew she was on her way because she was calling friends after his viral note and they gave him a heads up. The NYPD also checked in on Davidson after the letter.
What caused the note? It seems his defense over Kanye West triggered it all. Despite making fun of the rapper's mental health in October, he recently jumped to the industry titan's defense, but longtime West followers called him a hypocrite for the flip-flop.
