Cardi B is ready to give her fans some new music!
While on Instagram Live over the weekend, the "Money" rapper revealed she hopes to release her sophomore album in the first half of the new year. "Of course, it's going to be an album in 2019. Hopefully, I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy (which dropped April 5) came out," she told her fans. "I don't know how possible that's going to be because I feel like I'm going to be extremely, extremely busy."
Talk about Cardi's second album comes just weeks after she released the music video for her latest single "Money." The video was met with both praise and criticism as it featured tons of nudity, booty shaking, and even pole dancing by Cardi herself. (It was a lot!)
Cardi is currently in New Zealand, the third stop of her tour in Oceania. The "Bodak Yellow" rapper celebrated the New Year in Australia, where she admittedly twerked her life away while on stage in Sydney. "SYDNEY AUSTRALIA A F**KIN MOVIEEEEEE ...HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!," she captioned a video of her performing. She also shared a video of her getting down on all fours as she shook what her mama gave her to her hit "She Bad," which features YG. "SHE BAD SHE BAD SHE BAD SHE BAD ! I wish I coulda made the video to this song but I was 6 months pregnant 😩😩😩😩 @yg," Cardi captioned the booty-shaking clip.
