Princess Anne Savagely Shuts Down Reporter Asking About Prince Philip

Princess Anne, the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, savagely shut down a reporter with just a few words on Friday (Jan. 18). While arriving at an event, a reporter asked the 68-year-old royal how her father was doing after his serious car accident on Thursday (Jan. 17). Princess Anne's response? "I've no idea. You know where I am? Same place as you." Like I said: savage!

While the Duke of Edinburgh was in a serious accident-the Range Rover he was driving collided with another vehicle and overturned-he's reportedly doing quite well. Though her father was uninjured in the crash, Prince Philip's accident has sparked a debate about whether the retired, 97-year-old royal should still be driving. Princess Anne most likely didn't want to get into that conversation with a reporter.

Norfolk police report that the driver of the other car involved in the crash was a 28-year-old woman, who sustained cuts to her knees. There was another passenger, a 45-year-old woman, who broke her wrist during the crash. They were both treated and discharged at the local Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn. A 9-month-old baby, also in the second vehicle, was unharmed in the collision.

For those looking for a comment on the accident from Princess Anne, though, are definitely out of luck.
