Ben Gibbard lived out every super fan's dream over the weekend, when he performed onstage with his "all-time favorite band," Teenage Fanclub, during their show in his hometown of Seattle.

The Death Cab For Cutie frontman joined Norman Blake and company at the Neptune Theatre to play two songs off the band's iconic 1991 album, Bandwagonesque: "The Concept" and "Everything Flows." Gibbard was all smiles as he strummed his guitar and helped Blake with vocal duty.

"Tonight I got to sit in with my all-time favorite band @teenagefanclubofficial," Gibbard gushed on Instagram after the concert. "Played The Concept and Everything Flows two blocks from where I first bought their albums A Catholic Education and Bandwagonesque back in 1991. Huge thanks to Norman and the boys for allowing me my very own Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp moment!"

Check out the post and performance footage below.

While Gibbard geeked out to Teenage Fanclub, Halsey and Yungblud recently showed their Death Cab For Cutie fandom by covering DCFC's 2005 hit, "I Will Follow You Into The Dark." The band didn't only approve of the rendition but also felt "honored" by the "beautiful cover, urging fans to take a listen via Twitter.
