In 2011, Nirvana's Live at the Paramount was released on DVD and Blu-Ray to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band's seminal album, Nevermind. Now, the live performance is getting pressed to vinyl for the first timeāand it's coming out soon.
As THEPRP points out, the record is slated for an April 5 release and will be available in a 2-LP set. Additionally, the record will come with a 12x24" poster insert and digital download that replicates the cloth sticky VIP pass used the night of the concert. The performance was recorded on October 31, 1991 at The Paramount in Seattle. The release date is an important one, as it marks the 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's passing.

Earlier this month, we celebrated what would have been Cobain's 52nd birthday with a look back at five of the most memorable Nirvana performances. Danny Goldberg, the band's old manager, will also be publishing a book about the late rockstar in April called Serving the Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain. The book is set to come out on April 2, three days before the Live at the Paramount record release.
