Lady Gaga Finally Addresses Bradley Cooper Romance Rumors

If you sensed sparks flying between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper during their Oscars performance this weekend, then the duo did their job.

On Sunday (February 24), Gaga and Cooper delivered what was conceivably the most loving and romantic presentation of their A Star Is Born duet "Shallow," which earned the "Born This Way" musician her first Oscar for Best Original Song. Yet, all anyone could tweet about that night was the apparent chemistry between the co-star that almost led to a kiss.

Thus, the grand question presented itself: Are Gaga and Cooper dating?

Well, Mother Monster set the record straight during her guest spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (February 27) — and let's just say, she's a really good actress.

“Yes, people saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” the 32-year-old said, deflating any assumption she and the actor are anything more than good artists.

“[Shallow] is a love song, A Star Is Born, is a love story,” Gaga continued. “It was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time… When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”

Also, Gaga may be freshly back on the market after calling off her engagement to ex-fiance Christian Carino last week, Cooper is still very much involved with his longterm girlfriend Irina Shayk — who enjoyed their display as much as we did!

Laughing off the rumor finally, Joanne vocalist said, “I’m an artist and I guess [Bradley and I] did a good job… fooled ya!”
