Demi Lovato and Henri Levy have reportedly broken up.

The singer and fashion designer, who have been romantically linked since Lovato completed rehab treatment in November, are no longer dating, a source told PEOPLE on Tuesday (March 5). What's more, the insider revealed that, contrary to previous reports, Levy was never her "sober companion."

Lovato and Levy were first suspected to be a twosome after they were spotted on a sushi date at Beverly Hills' Matsuhisa restaurant in in November. The pair continued to fuel dating speculations when they were caught holding hands and kissing outside Nobu restaurant in Los Angeles weeks later.

According to TMZ, who broke the initial sighting, the musician and clothing guru had been previously acquainted but decided to rekindle their friendship after Lovato left a treatment facility following the near-fatal overdose she suffered in July.

By November, the "Sorry Not Sorry" vocalist was said to be "totally head over heels" for Levy, and appeared to confirm her romance with the star when they kissed on a private plane while flying to Aspen to celebrate the new year. The pair's split may come as a surprise, considering it was less than a month ago that Levy shared a romantic note on Valentine's Day in his girlfriend's honor.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Lovato, who celebrated her sixth month of sobriety in January, sought further treatment at a facility outside Los Angeles. “She has not relapsed since she overdosed. She did recently go to a facility, but it was her own decision,” the source added. “It was one trip to a treatment facility for a few weeks outside of Los Angeles.”
