Queen guitarist Brian May, former Talking Heads front man David Byrne, pop star Harry Styles, , R&B star Janelle Monae, members of Duran Duran , and Nine Inch Nails visionary Trent Rezor will be among the participants in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame festivities coming up on March 29.

May will induct the evening's headliner, Def Leppard. Byrne will induct Radiohead. Duran Duran front man Simon Le Bon and bassist John Taylor will induct Roxy Music. Reznor will induct The Cure. Monae will induct Janet Jackson. Styles will re-induct Stevie Nicks for her solo career. And Susanna Hoffs will induct the Zombies.

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell hinted that May, a long time Def Leppard supporter, might join the band on the dais for its big night.

"I don't know if it's for public consumption yet," Campbell said last month, addressing the May rumors. "But it would be pretty easy to figure it out. It's a gentleman who's been a big fan of the band and a friend of the band for many, many decades."

Nicks mentioned former One Direction member Styles in a recent Rolling Stone interview as one of the young artists who's like a child to her. Styles' first solo album since leaving the boyband was a critically acclaimed soft rock record. He also famously covered a slew of classic rock songs during his life shows, in particular, "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac.

"I love Harry, and I'm so happy Harry made a rock & roll record — he could have made a pop record and that would have been the easy way for him," Nicks said.

Reznor's participation is of note since the singer/producer has said on multiple occasions that he "couldn't give less of a s--t" about the Hall of Fame.

Byrne's participation will be interesting as well, since Radiohead front man Thom Yorke will not be attending the festivities. It's unclear if the rest of the legendary alternative band will show up or if they would perform with an alternative music forefather like Byrne.
