ABC's "American Idol" - April 28, 2019 - Arrivals

Katy Perry met her youngest admirer on the latest episode of American Idol.

On Sunday's live episode (April 28), the "Swish Swish" musician and her fellow judges, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, were treated to a special performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody" as part of the show's Queen tribute — and sitting at the piano for the set was none other than 7-year-old Avett Maness.

Maness, a blind, self-taught piano sensation, went viral and became an internet celebrity a few months back for wowing local crowds with songs like Queen's iconic anthem and Bach's Minuet in G. During last night's celebration, however, the musician-in-the-making had his heart set on impressing one person that night — and that was Perry.

In fact, when the 34-year-old met the young star backstage after the show, she told Entertainment Tonight that the 7-year-old made a move on her. "He asked me for my number backstage," Perry revealed as Bryan and Richie laughed. "I was like, 'You're 7!'"

"He's getting the digits! He's networking," Bryan quipped, with Richie adding, "If he's starting off at 7, he'll be a killer by 19."

While Perry, who is engaged to Orlando Bloom, doesn't plan on giving out her digits to the first-grader, she offered another proposal instead. "I mean, I'm down to babysit," she added, quipping, "I'm a great babysitter. I let the kids eat all the Oreos."

Sounds like a win-win to us!
