Music means different things to different people, and for one particular Angels & Airwaves fan the music has helped him get through some pretty tough times. Jamie Tidnam shared an emotional video on Twitter explaining how he's struggled with mental health and how AVA has helped him. "The music you've brought out has helped me alot through my extreme tough time battling mental health in hospital recently," he captioned the clip. "I recommend to really give @AVABandOfficial a listen to because it's a band that can help heal you."

Frontman Tom DeLonge responded to Jamie's message, revealing how the band changed his life, too. "Jamie- You gave me tears. YOU are why I do this," Tom wrote. "Creating this band actually changed my life- it was a way of knowing that we can be in charge of our own thoughts, the idea of who we are, what we can become, and what our life experience shall be. I dedicate @AVABandOfficial to U."

Earlier this week AVA announced its first tour in seven years and released a new song, "Rebel Girl." Listen to the track and check out the list of tour dates here.
