Meghan was over a week overdue with some outlets reporting that if she didn’t go into labor soon medical intervention would be required. Some reports suggested Meghan and Harry would opt for a home birth, however, the Sussexes did not reveal their birth plans to the public. Instead, they released a statement informing their well-wishers they planned to keep the birth as private as possible.
Baby Sussex will be seventh in line to throne, though it’s not clear if the child will be given any royal titles by Queen Elizabeth. Meghan and Harry chose not to learn the gender of their baby during the Duchess’s pregnancy, however, professional oddsmakers predict Baby Sussex will be a girl. The odds-on favorite names right now are Grace and Allegra, which surpassed previous favorites Elizabeth and Diana.
