Congratulations may be in order for Trey Songz.

Trigga appeared to hint that he welcomed a baby boy on Instagram Thursday (May 16), after he posted a photo of a newborn's foot in his hand with the caption: "πŸ’™." The post immediately sent the R&B singer's fans into a state of shock, especially after a few of Trey's famous friends showered him with congratulatory messages in the comment section of his Instagram post. "finally HAHAAAAA YES!!!," Kehlani wrote. "πŸ–€πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―," D.C. Young Fly added.

Steelo Brim also commented on the surprise post, writing, "πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ My Brother." If that wasn't enough to add to the baby speculation, even his most recent ex, Lori Harvey, sent her well wishes, commenting, "Awww that little foot happy for you T!!!"

As fans know, Trey's possible baby news comes five months after adult film star, Brittney Jones, claimed she was pregnant with his child. Despite posting pictures of a sonogram, claiming it was a photo of their child, Brittney later retracted her statement, saying she was never pregnant by Trey and the sonogram photo was indeed a fake.

With Trey being single for the past few months β€” he famously shot his shot at Megan Thee Stallion back in March β€” fans were left wondering if he is, in fact, a new dad. (No one's negating the fact that he could have very much so welcomed a child with a woman he wasn't in a relationship with, but, for speculation purposes, we have to lay out all the facts.) While left many fans hypothesizing about his cryptic IG post. The most popular hypothesis being that Trey's post is a throwback picture from his nephew's birth. However, that wouldn't explain his friends' excited comments in the Instagram comment section.

Guess we'll have to wait and see how this plays out.
