The Raconteurs Explore Japan In 'Help Me Stranger' Video: Watch
By Katrina Nattress
May 18, 2019
As the release date for The Raconteurs' comeback album HELP US STRANGER creeps up, they've shared another offering off the record in the form of "Help Me Stranger." The corresponding music video was filmed while the band toured Japan last month and features scenes of the four-piece performing in the studio and posing for press photos throughout. An interesting subplot finds Jack White and Brendan Benson making mysterious phone calls in a greenlit room, and White rescuing an abandoned baby outside a shuttered store in Kitmitsu, Japan.
"Help Me Stranger" is the fourth offering off the upcoming album, following the band's cover of Donovan's "Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness)" "Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone." Watch the music vdieo below.
HELP US STRANGER is slated for a June 21 release via White's Third Man Records and will be the band's first album in over a decade. The Raconteurs have been touring the world to celebrate their reunion. Check out their full list of dates below.
