Did Serena Williams Secretly Meet Royal Baby Archie Last Week?

Just because we haven't seen Meghan Markle out and about since she welcomed royal baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor at the beginning of May doesn't mean she hasn't been living it up at Frogmore Cottage. And by "living it up" we mean hanging out with some of her besties at Frogmore Cottage. Though she kept her visit under wraps (mostly), Serena Williams reportedly visited Meghan and Archie in England last week.

According to The Daily Mail, the tennis champ was one of the first non-family members to meet the newest royal baby. She visited her long time friend sometime last week with her husband Alexis Ohanian in tow. The couple then jetted off the Paris with their daughter Olympia Ohanain so Serena could play in the French Open.

The only confirmation Serena gave of the meeting was on her Instagram. She shared two photos from a fancy state room that looks like it could be in one of the royal family's many castles/palaces. It makes sense that Serena would be one of the first of Meghan's friends to meet Archie: she attended the royal wedding last year and even hosted Meghan's $200k baby shower in NYC.

Meghan's other close friend Jessica Mulroney made the trek from Canada to England to meet Archie, as well. It's unclear whether Jessica and Serena were in town at the same time, though it's definitely possible. Jessica also helped bring Meghan's baby shower together.

Some royal watchers suspect either Serena or Jessica will be asked to be Archie's godmother. It's possible that both will be asked, as well, because royal tradition indicates each child can have multiple godparents. We'll just have to wait for the official royal announcement.
