Cassie Is Pregnant, Expecting 1st Child 8 Months After Diddy Split

The rumors were true — Cassie is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Alex Fine.
Less than a week after "a little birdie close to the couple" told The Shade Room the 32-year-old singer "is preggers by her new boo," the two confirmed the news on Instagram Wednesday (June 12). "Can’t wait to meet our baby girl 💗 Love You Always & Forever," Cassie captioned a series of photos of her and her bull-riding beau.
Alex also shared the news on his Instagram by writing two love letters, one addressed to Cassie and the other to his soon-to-arrive baby girl. "Letter to Cassie I promise you that I will do every single thing in my power to support you and help you," he began. "I promise that you will never be alone. I promise that you will be loved beyond expectation and we will show our children how to be in a healthy relationship. I promise to always come home with a great attitude and give our children and you undivided attention."
"I promise to always keep you and the child first nothing comes before you," the celebrity personal trainer continued. "I promise you will be showered in kisses and hugs every single day. I promise that I will be the best father/baby daddy You two are my greatest loves I have and will ever have. I cannot wait for the rest of our lives together and to raise a beautiful happy child in our beautiful happy life."
Cassie's pregnancy news comes eight months after she called it quits with her boyfriend of 11 years, Sean "Diddy" Combs. As fans know, LoveBScott broke the news in September that the two ended their years-long relationship. "They are indeed no longer together and haven’t been for months," Cassie's rep told the site at the time.
Cassie began dating Alex shortly after her split from the business mogul. The soon-to-be first-time parents became Instagram official in December after the 32-year-old singer shared a photo enjoying the holidays with her family and new boo. In an Instagram post of what appeared to be a photo of a strip of pictures taken in a photo booth, Cassie and Alex were shown making out in a picture just below one featuring the two standing beside Cassie's mom.
