Blue Ivy Carter may only be 7 years old, but she's already proving she's got her momma's genes. The eldest daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z recently showed off her stuff while performing center stage at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy recital in Los Angeles. The group danced to her mom's song "Before I Let Go," and Blue absolutely slayed. TMZ was able to snag footage from the performance, which ends with the young dancer executing the splits perfectly.

Though for the time being it certainly seems like Blue is interested in entertainment, Beyonce will be happy with whatever she decides to become. Last year, the mother of three penned an honest, candid essay for Vogue. "My mother taught me the importance not just of being seen but of seeing myself. As the mother of two girls, it’s important to me that they see themselves too—in books, films, and on runways," she wrote. "It’s important to me that they see themselves as CEOs, as bosses, and that they know they can write the script for their own lives—that they can speak their minds and they have no ceiling."

"They don’t have to be a certain type or fit into a specific category," she continued. "They don’t have to be politically correct, as long as they’re authentic, respectful, compassionate, and empathetic. They can explore any religion, fall in love with any race, and love who they want to love."
