Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne Slam Trump For Unauthorized Use Of "Crazy Train"

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne made it known Thursday that President Donald Trump does not have permission to use Ozzy's music in connection to his campaign.

Trump shared a video to Twitter Thursday morning that used a clip of Ozzy's 1980 hit "Crazy Train" to mock an audio mishap that occurred Wednesday night during MSNBC's coverage of the Democratic debate.

The clip opens with footage of the news channel's tech snafu before the screen fades to black with "Crazy Train" playing. Then, Trump emerges from shows and steps towards a podium.

Trump mocked the democrats via Twitter numerous times during the debates and delighted at MSNBC's glitch.

But the Osbournes fired back at Trump, vehemently objecting to the politicizing of Ozzy's music.

In a statement, released via Sharon's social media and shared by Ozzy's, the first family of heavy metal responded to the President.

"Based on this morning's unauthorized use of Ozzy Osbourne's 'Crazy Train,' we are sending notice to the Trump campaign (or any other campaigns) that they are forbidden from using any of Ozzy Osbourne's music in political ads or any political campaigns," the joint statement read.

"Ozzy's music cannot be used for any means without approvals," they added.

The Trump campaign since 2016 has been accused of unauthorized use of music by dozens of artists.

The Osbournes concluded their statement by suggesting Trump stick to using music by artists who are known to support him, like Kanye West, Kid Rock and Ted Nugent.
