Could Lady Gaga be joining the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie? There's a "very strong" possibility.

According to HollywoodLife, rumor has it the singer-turned-actress is being courted to play the love interest of Bradley Cooper's animated character in Marvel's upcoming superhero flick, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. An insider exclusively told the celebrity outlet the Star Is Born co-stars have a strong chance of linking up as lovers once again, should the "Born This Way" star be cast in the part, assumably as Lady Lylla, an otter described as an heiress to a toymaking empire from Rocket's planet.

“There is a very strong possibility that Lady Gaga and Bradley will be working together again on Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Only some cast names have been released but the word is Bradley will reprise his role of Rocket Raccoon and Gaga will play his love interest," the source shared. "Their characters are animated but still, it’s exciting. Audiences want them together and certainly everyone recognizes that appeal, they’re box office gold together, it’s very likely that this will happen."

It's true! Cooper and Gaga's on-screen reprisal has been well in-demand ever since their musical blockbuster debuted in 2018.

The hype surrounding the actors' undeniable chemistry only intensified after the twosome delivered the film's smash record "Shallow" with an unforgettably intimate performance at the Academy Awards.

Gaga has neither confirmed or denied her alleged attachment to the new Guardians movie — but we're keeping our fingers crossed!
