Nicole Murphy regrets kissing married director Antoine Fuqua.
On Tuesday (September 24), the 51-year-old model sat down with Wendy Williams to discuss her now-infamous poolside make out session with Lela Rochon's husband, which was photographed back in July while the two "friends" were in Italy for a film festival.
"It was a frozen-in-time thing,” Nicole told Wendy. “Trust me, I wish it didn’t happen. It was a moment where I should’ve thought more through the situation. Make better judgments. It’s something I apologized for."
"It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in any way inappropriately with a married man," she continued. "I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written."
After photos surfaced of Nicole and Antoine engaging in a few moments of passion, Nicole reportedly released a statement to Love B. Scott, saying, "Antoine and I are just family friends. I ran into him in Italy and we exchanged a friendly hello and that was it."
However, she told Wendy on Tuesday that she "did not put out that statement. I did not release that statement, Wendy."
The mother-of-five also issued a warning to women, saying they should do their research because “this could happen to you.”
“At the moment, maybe I had a different impression of [their marriage],” she said before adding that it's “absolutely false” that she broke up Lela and Antoine's marriage. "Darling, it was a mistake," Nicole she said to the camera, speaking directly to Lela through the camera lens. "I apologize."
