Last month Kim Kardashian teased her husband's new album Jesus Is King on social media, revealing it was coming out September 27. Naturally, fans lost their minds, and the countdown was on. But September 27 came and went and guess what? We still haven't heard Kanye West's new album. News of the delay came the day before it was supposed to release, giving us serious Yandhi flashbacks, but don't panic too much (yet). According to Kim Jesus Is King will drop on Sunday (September 29), after hosting a listening session in Chicago Saturday night (September 28) and one in New York City on Sunday.

"He's dropping the album Sunday," she assured fans via Instagram story. "Just a few final tweaks to the mixes."

Perhaps (un)coincidentally, Yandhi was originally supposed to drop September 29, 2018. See her message below.

In addition to this news, Kim also shared video from and event called “Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience” in Detroit Friday night. Aside from listening to the album, fans were also treated to the screening of Jesus Is Lord, an IMAX film Kanye plans to release next month. "I can’t wait for you guys to see this @imax film in October,” she wrote in her story.
