Sam Hunt Teases New Song With A Series Of Instagram Posts

Sam Hunt is gearing up for the release of new music. After wiping his social media completely clean earlier last week, the singer has now started dropping hints at new music coming.

Over the weekend through a series of Instagram posts, Hunt is giving fans a glimpse at what's to come. The first photo was shared on Friday (October 4) captioned, "I wanna introduce you to my Kinfolks, to my old friends." The next day, Saturday (October 5), he posted another photo but this time of a basketball hoop with the caption, "To the house in the pines where the road ends."

The next day (October 6) he shared a photo of a house captioned, "Take you to my hometown, where I grew up." This was followed by his most recent photo shared just this morning (October 7), of an old-school pink telephone with the caption, "Get Joanie on the phone, she'll leave us on a light."

Although nothing has been officially confirmed, fans are pretty confident that these Instagram captions are actually the lyrics to his upcoming single.

Just about a month ago, in September, Hunt performed a new, unreleased song called "Sinning With You" at a show in Canada. Additionally, he recently revealed in an interview that he has four songs written for his sophomore album, which he says he'll be turning into the record label on January 1.

To say fans are eager for more music would be an understatement considering it's been nearly five years since Hunt released his debut album, Montevallo. His last single, "Downtown's Dead" dropped in 2018 and followed up his highly successful hit, "Body Like A Back Road."

Stay tuned for more details to come on new Sam Hunt music!
