BTS could be going on tour in 2020!
The hype started earlier this week when the K-pop group’s management company, Big Hit Entertainment, released a cryptic teaser on social media that looked to be the first hint at a potential tour announcement to come in the new year. “April 2020. Stay Tuned,” Big Hit tweeted on Monday (December 23) with a purple graphic depicting the seven silhouettes of each group member — Suga, Jungkook, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, and V — reflected in a rippling pool of water on which the word “Tour” appears.

While nothing’s been confirmed, it could easily be theorized that April 2020 will be the dawn of a new era for the South Korean boy band. This comes four months after BTS went on an extended period of rest and relaxation to recharge and enjoy ordinary life before returning to the studio a little over a month after.
As fans know, BTS closed out their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" extended stadium tour back in October. The jaunt launched in support of the group’s Love Yourself era, which comprised of previously-released 2018 albums Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer. The former effort topped the Billboard 200, which made BTS the first-ever Korean act to have a number-one album in the chart’s history. The group went on to double down with Answer shooting to No. 1 as well, and also in the following year when their groundbreaking LP Map of the Soul: Personatopped the chart in 2019.
