Jennifer Aniston And Brad Pitt Have A 'Flirtatious' Relationship Now

Not only did Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston celebrate the holidays together this year, a new source claims the former married couple actually has a very "flirtatious" relationship these days.

"Brad and Jen have a wonderful connection that might seem flirtatious at times,” the source told Us Weekly. “They dig each other’s sense of humor and have an infectious energy when they’re together, but they insist things are purely platonic and nothing more than that.”

Following their split back in 2005, however, the exes weren't quite as chummy. It was a long road back to friendship for Brad and Jen, according to the insider. “It took a while for Jen to heal and for Brad to stop feeling bad for how he left her back in 2005,” the source explained. “This is something they’ve taken their time with, and they’re well aware of the hysteria around their relationship among their fans.”

The pair have become close again after they both ended their second marriages. Brad attended Jen's 50th birthday bash this year, as well as her Christmas party. They're agreed to "bury the past" and move on. “He’s taken responsibility. He’s tried to make amends. He didn’t realize the magnitude of the hurt he caused Jen at the time. He was so swept up in Angelina Jolie, he couldn’t see outside that tunnel," the source added.
