Brendon Urie is giving young kids “high, high hopes” for a future in music.
“I'm bringing it back to my hometown. I am feeling a wave of emotion of good. I'm excited,” Urie said. “We're introducing the first ever Notes for Notes in Las Vegas. This is not far from where I grew up, this is a special neighborhood. It's all coming around, I get to pay it forward in the way it was paid to me as a child.”
As you'll see in the video, the “Dancing's Not A Crime” singer gets to check out a digital version of what the new studio would look like. Complete with drums, guitars, keyboards and more, the space is the perfect environment for kids to hone in on their talents and skills!
Once Urie invites the kids to the room, it's safe to say they can't wait to get started creating music. “I can tell you right now, if I had these tools at your age, the band would have taken off when I was 12." Urie said while unveiling the opening of the studio. "You’re probably going to get a sped-up version of what I got."
The kids weren't the only ones to get a surprise because there was one in store for the singer as well. The music teacher who inspired him was hiding out and popped out to surprise the singer during the big reveal. Watch it happen in the video above!
The studio, which has been in building mode since 2018, is now officially open for kids.
