When it rains, it pours when it comes to Dua Lipa's latest era.
A day ahead of the release of her new single, "Physical," Lipa, 24, took to social media to announce that her sophomore set, Future Nostalgia, is set to drop on April 3. Alongside the unveil, the pop star also shared the glossy album artwork, which was shot by Hugo Comte, and sees the superstar decked out in a pink ensemble in the front seat of a car with a full moon behind her. "I got to work with the photographer Hugo Comte, who I'm a massive fan of," the singer recently told Billboard at the Grammys. "I'm really grateful that we got to work on this together."
News of the LP's release date comes ahead of the Friday (January 31) release of her new single, which was produced by Evigan (Selena Gomez, Rüfüs Du Sol). Lipa has previously-released the collection's lead single, "Don't Start Now," as well as its title track.
"What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favorite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine," Lipa said in a statement. "I was inspired by so many artists on the new record from Gwen Stefani to Madonna to Moloko to Blondie and OutKast, to name just a few."
